Živjo! We are Jar of Flies, a grunge band from Slovenia.

We started playing together in 2014. During our first years we performed covers, but since the beginning of 2017 we have mostly dedicated ourselves to write our own pieces. You will see the result of this process popping up in these pages every now and then, while we do our best to write, rewrite, record and assemble our stuff.

Our music is mostly influenced by grunge groups such as Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, Sound Garden, Days of the New and more, as well as by other genres and by our different personal tastes and influences.

A big part in our musical development has also been played by our fellow Slovenian musicians, with which we share concerts, experiences and ideas. One of the milestones of our musical journey was the tour we did with Fed Horses and Prelude in November/December 2016. That tour united us in a way that only music stages, amplifiers and multiple hangovers can. Here is to many more!
